PACS Features

The PACS module is designed to arrange, organize, archive and store photo and video information obtained during the tomographic examination of patients. Instead of writing data directly to the CT scanner database, the PACS server allows you to free the memory of the medical equipment system continuously, which will affect the speed and accuracy of its operation.

PACS is compatible with all the modern tools, as well as devices running on the Dicom protocol. Its main task is to immediately extract data from the archive, use the information for analyzing, comparing or printing at the request of the patient.

The advantage of this station is the official support for MAC OS and software update. Osirix supports Dicom data transfer protocol, generates images in the “.dcm” format, integrates with any equipment (CT, MRI, PET-CT, ultrasound), and visualizes multimodal data.
